Financial reporting
Fisher Keathley & Ross performs all phases of the financial reporting process including audit, review and compilation. Our professionals provide service that is prompt, knowledgeable, efficient and cost effective. Tax planning and return preparation
We provide a wide range of superior tax services including comprehensive tax planning, reviewing tax aspects of contemplated business transactions (including acquisitions and mergers), preparing tax returns, rendering estate and family tax planning, assisting during the examination of returns by taxing authorities and preparing requests for rulings and technical advice. Our current base of tax clientele is composed of all types of individuals, business entities, estates and trusts.
The Fisher Keathley & Ross approach to tax consulting is premised on an understanding of the complex business environment in which the particular client operates and consists of timely, aggressive and imaginative planning to achieve the most favorable tax posture. Although the minimization of taxes is a principal objective, we believe that deferral of tax obligations also can be important to a client's operational and business strategy.
Business consulting
Along with the above described services, Fisher Keathley & Ross performs many consulting services for our clients. These services may range from providing day-to-day operational advice, to designing information systems, to evaluating and/or creating long-term business strategies. This segment of our practice provides clients cost-effective advice and assistance that allows our clients to use their resources efficiently and achieve their specific goals. In short, FK&R can function as a client's part-time CFO and/or controller or internal audit staff to ensure that the needs of the client are satisfied in a most expeditious manner.
Our consulting practice also encompasses litigation support by assisting clients and their attorneys in matters related to various types of proceedings where accounting and tax services are an integral part of the process. This assistance may be in the form of expert witness, contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, computing lost profits and being a court-appointed referee.
